The Drimaster 365 is a low cost 'whole house' ventilation unit with automatic climate control. Under normal conditions the incoming air supply is drawn from a ventilated attic to recover waste heat and feed it back into the property. On very cold days the air supply can be tempered by an (optional) integral heating element. In hot weather the air supply is drawn through a duct to atmosphere, typically located on the North side of the property. Switching of the air supply is controlled automatically depending on required indoor air temperature.
Drimaster 365 features include:
The Drimaster 365 will:
A positive input ventilation unit gently supplies tempered, filtered air into a home using otherwise unused heat within a roof. The benefits of this are enormous:
As this unit has a "summer mode" where it pulls air from an exterior grille it requires a small amount of ducting. There are two options to choose from either the supply feed being allocated on a gable end wall or through a soffit, where the roof overhangs the exterior wall.
The wall kit includes; 5m of 150mm dia. insulated ducting, 2m length 200mm dia. of insulated flexible ducting, 150mm telescopic pipe, exterior grille and 8 zip ties.
The soffit kit includes; 128mm x 260mm soffit grille, 3m length of 222mm x 90mm flexible duct (for connecting to soffit grille), circular to rectangular adapter, 5m of 150mm dia. insulated ducting, 2m length of 200mm dia. insulated flexible ducting, 8 zip ties.
The roof kit includes; 5m of 150mm dia. insulated ducting, 2m length 200mm dia. of insulated flexible ducting, 150mm telescopic pipe, Ubink universal pitched roof cowl, and 8 zip ties.
Positive input ventilation have been clinically proven to help allergy and asthma sufferers by effectively removing high quantities of dust and particules from the air within your home. PIV units also help reduce and maintain radon gas levels.
Twin sensors optimise energy efficiency, adjusting settings to provide increased comfort.
This 500W pre-heater connects in-line with the 200mm dia. ducting between the unit and the diffuser. An integral thyristor detects temperature levels and adjusts the heat output accordingly, reducing energy consumption.
All Nuaire PIV units are compliant under Part F & L of the 2010 Building Regulations.
Solarcrest provide a nationwide supply, installation and commissioning service with BPEC certified installers. We also provide commissioning only, required under 2010 regs, if you prefer to install the system yourself. In which case we can provide installation guidance by telephone and email.
PLEASE NOTE - The installation cost for this unit (above) includes the necessary ducting to connect the PIV to atmosphere through a gable attic wall. If you have a hipped roof with no gable walls an additional cost will apply to vent through the roof. Please call us for details.
Unlike many PIV units the air filters in the Nuaire PIV range only require an annual inspection and clean, normally with a vacuum cleaner. More frequent inspection post-building work is prudent as the filters are likely to pick up more dust than normal. All filters are generally very easy to access and can be upgraded to F5 pollen filters if you suffer from hay fever. Other than the filter inspection the PIV is a fit and forget item. All Nuaire units come with a 5 year warranty for added peace of mind.
